This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to the Comment Exporter by Altura Logic browser extension (the "Extension"), published on the Chrome Web Store by Altura Logic, LLC ("Altura Logic", "we", "us"). It explains what data the Extension handles, why, and the choices you have. By using the Extension, you agree to the practices described here.

When you choose "Sign in with Google", Google shares the following with Altura Logic through the Chrome identity API: your name, email address, profile picture, Google account ID and whether your email is verified. We request only the userinfo.email and userinfo.profile scopes. We never receive your Google password and we do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data.

When you ask the Extension to export comments from a public TikTok video, it retrieves the public comments on that video: author name, username, comment text, number of likes and date. On the Free plan these are retrieved directly by your browser. On the Premium plan, "deep scan" requests are relayed through Altura Logic servers to TikTok and the results are returned to your browser; our servers pass the data through and do not store it. In both cases the comments are saved only to the files (for example CSV, JSON or Excel) you choose to download.

Your IP address is processed when you sign in and when you run Premium extractions. We keep it only in protected form (hashed or encrypted, never in plain text) to secure accounts, enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.

When you sign in, we check whether your account has an active Comment Exporter subscription. Subscriptions are purchased on alturalogic.com and payments are processed by Stripe. The Extension never sees or handles your card details.

The Extension uses Chrome's local extension storage to keep your session token, a cached copy of your profile and your consent choice. This data stays on your device until you sign out or withdraw consent.

The Extension does not collect your browsing history, does not read the content of websites you visit other than the TikTok video you ask it to export, and does not include analytics, tracking or advertising scripts.

We do not use your data for advertising, to build marketing profiles, to determine creditworthiness or for any purpose unrelated to the Extension's single purpose of exporting comments.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Extension, and only as needed to provide it: Google (sign-in and cloud infrastructure, including Firebase) and Stripe (payment processing). These providers are bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of Altura Logic, our users or the public.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Altura Logic uses Google user data only to provide and improve the Extension's user-facing features, does not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, does not use or transfer it for serving advertisements, and does not allow humans to read it unless you give consent, it is necessary for security purposes or to comply with law, or it is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Account information is kept while your Altura Logic account exists. Protected security data is kept only as long as needed for security and abuse prevention. Extracted comments are not stored on our servers. Data stored on your device is removed when you sign out, withdraw consent or uninstall the Extension.

All communication between the Extension and Altura Logic uses HTTPS. Sessions are signed tokens, IP addresses are never stored in plain text, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

The Extension is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy when the Extension or our practices change. The effective date below shows when it was last updated. If the changes are material, the Extension will ask for your consent again before any data leaves your device.
