Terms of Service

Effective November 4, 2026

The short version

  • You must be 18 or older (or the legal age where you live) to use Altura Logic.
  • You are responsible for how you use our tools, for your content and data, and for your results.
  • We may revoke accounts, plans or benefits at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
  • Your agreement is only with Altura Logic, LLC; its members and managers have no personal liability. Collaborators and partners are independent and cannot act for us.
  • We serve businesses in the US, primarily on the East Coast, with a focus on property management and automotive; everyone eligible is welcome and treated equally. Ideas you send us outside a signed agreement are not confidential.
  • You stay responsible for your business, your legal obligations and every message sent for you. Our software is not an emergency service.
  • Errors or outdated information may occur. Send us feedback and we will do our best to keep improving, but we have no legal responsibility for accidental mistakes.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Fees are non-refundable unless the law says otherwise.
  • The Services are provided "as is", and Altura Logic accepts no financial responsibility to the fullest extent the law allows.
  • No lawsuits or class actions: disputes are resolved only through individual arbitration in North Carolina, after you give us 45 days to fix the issue. You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days (section 15), but you still agree to contact us first and give us 45 days to fix the issue; claims then go only to courts in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

This summary is not a substitute for the full Terms below. Our legal documents are available in English only; Spanish content on our sites is an added value and is not legally binding.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Altura Logic, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina ("Altura Logic", "we", "us"). They govern your use of alturalogic.com and quipurunner.com, your Altura One ID account, and every product and service we offer, including Wandez, Comment Exporter, Quipu Runner and its betas and early-access builds, workspaces, mentorships and community programs (together, the "Services").

By creating an account, checking a box or clicking a button that references these Terms, purchasing a plan, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services for a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it, and "you" includes that organization.

2. Eligibility: adults only (18+)

The Services are intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if it is higher, and legally able to form a binding contract, to create an account, purchase anything, or use the Services. By using the Services you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use the Services and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may suspend or close the account and delete its data without notice or refund. You may not use the Services if you have previously been banned from them or if you are barred from receiving them under applicable law, including U.S. sanctions and export laws.

3. You are responsible for your use and your results

The Services are tools. How you use them, and what you decide and achieve with them, are your responsibility alone. Specifically, you are solely responsible for:

  • your business, financial, marketing, creative, research and personal decisions, and any outcome of those decisions, including lost revenue, lost opportunities or reputational effects;
  • the content, data, websites, stores, files and materials you create, upload, publish, export or distribute with the Services ("Your Content"), and their accuracy, legality and suitability;
  • complying with every law, regulation and third-party term that applies to you, including privacy and data-protection laws, consumer, advertising, tax and e-commerce laws, and the terms of third-party platforms you use with the Services (such as TikTok, Google, Stripe, Steam, Apple or Google Play);
  • obtaining any consent, notice or legal basis needed to collect, export, store or use personal data about other people, including commenters, customers and visitors;
  • reviewing and verifying any output of the Services, including AI-generated content, analytics, exports and reports, before relying on it;
  • keeping your own backups of Your Content and exports; and
  • the security of your devices, accounts, passwords, passkeys and the actions of anyone who uses your account or workspace.

Nothing in the Services is legal, financial, tax, investment, medical or other professional advice. Results described on our sites, including examples, case studies, and the experiences of other users, are not a promise or guarantee of any result for you.

4. Accounts and workspaces

You must give accurate, current information, including your date of birth, and keep it up to date. Your Altura One ID is personal; do not share it or let others use it. Notify us at admin@alturalogic.com of any unauthorized use.

Paid plans belong to a workspace. The workspace owner is the only person who can buy plans for it, see its billing information, manage its subscriptions and transfer it, and is responsible for every member they invite and for all activity in the workspace. We may rely on instructions from the workspace owner and are not responsible for disputes between owners and members.

5. Plans, subscriptions, automatic renewal and refunds

Prices, plan features and billing periods are shown before you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for all fees and applicable taxes.

Subscriptions renew automatically. Monthly plans renew every month and annual plans renew every year, at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged at the start of each new period until you cancel.

  • Free trials. If a plan includes a free trial, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before it ends.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard (workspace billing) or by emailing admin@alturalogic.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • No refunds. Except as stated in section 13 or where the law requires otherwise, all fees are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused features, annual prepaid plans and downgrades.
  • Price changes. We may change prices for future periods. We will notify you before a change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • Discounts and promotions. Promotional prices apply only as described and may end at any time.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it is resolved.
  • Renewal reminders. For annual plans, we will send a reminder before renewal where the law requires it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:

  • break any law or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
  • publish or sell anything fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing or harmful to minors, or any illegal product or service;
  • send spam, run scams or phishing, or distribute malware;
  • collect or misuse personal data in violation of law or of a platform's terms, or use exported data to harass, track, profile or discriminate against people;
  • probe, scan, overload, attack or bypass the security, rate limits, payment or access controls of the Services;
  • copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Services, except where the law expressly allows it; or
  • use bots, fake accounts or automation to abuse promotions, contests, free plans or trials.

We may investigate violations, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.

7. Your Content and our intellectual property

You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant Altura Logic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display and transmit Your Content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Services for you. You represent that you have all rights needed to grant this license and that Your Content does not violate these Terms or any law.

The Services, including our software, games, characters, artwork, designs, layouts, text, logos and the names Altura Logic, Altura One ID, Wandez, Comment Exporter and Quipu Runner, are owned by Altura Logic or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services under these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

Unsolicited ideas and submissions. Ideas, pitches, game or product concepts, designs, portfolios and proposals that you send us outside a signed written agreement, including through a quote request, a collaboration or partnership inquiry, email or social media, are not confidential and create no relationship or obligation. We may already be working on similar ideas, and we may develop, use or decline any idea without credit, payment or other obligation to you. Do not send material you consider confidential or proprietary unless Altura Logic has first signed a non-disclosure agreement with you. This paragraph does not apply to Your Content stored in the Services.

8. Product-specific terms

  • Wandez. Wandez is currently in development and is offered only as a free demo and early version; no paid plans are sold until launch. Its features, limits, AI credits, availability and pricing may change, be added or be removed at any time. It may not always work as expected and content could be lost, so keep your own copies of your content, and do not rely on it for critical uses. We welcome your feedback to help us improve it. You are the publisher of every website and store you build, and you are solely responsible for its content, products, prices, policies, customer communications, taxes, legal notices and the personal data of your visitors and customers. You must post your own privacy policy and terms for your site. Websites generated with AI must be reviewed by you before publishing.
  • Comment Exporter. The extension helps you export public comments that you choose. Exported comments contain other people's content and personal data. You are solely responsible for having a lawful purpose, for complying with TikTok's terms and with privacy, research-ethics and intellectual-property rules, and for how you store, share and use any export. Altura Logic is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok, and features may stop working if a platform changes.
  • AI features. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to output given to others, or inappropriate. It is provided for your review and is not professional advice. AI requests may be processed by our AI service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Quipu Runner, betas and early access. Games, betas, early-access builds and keys are provided for entertainment, may contain bugs, may change or be withdrawn, and may be subject to the terms of the platform that distributes them (such as Steam, the App Store or Google Play). Keys have no cash value and may not be sold or transferred. Photosensitivity warning: a small percentage of people may experience seizures when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns in video games. Stop playing and consult a doctor if you experience any symptoms.
  • Mentorships and sessions by collaborators. Mentorships, classes and live sessions on our platform are led by independent mentors and collaborators, not by Altura Logic, and are not Altura Logic courses. Altura Logic provides its platform to them free of charge as a community service. Each mentor is solely responsible for the content, accuracy, conduct and schedule of their sessions, and their views are their own. Altura Logic does not endorse or guarantee any session, certificate or result and is not responsible for them. Mentors who use the platform must follow these Terms and must have the rights to everything they share. Sessions may be recorded as described in the Privacy Policy. To join a mentorship or its waiting list you need an Altura One ID (18+). Joining a list does not guarantee a spot: the mentor sets the dates, capacity and requirements, sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled, and a mentor's own rules for their session also apply.
  • Contests, game jams, mentorships and perks. These are governed by their own official rules or announcements, which control if they conflict with these Terms. Perks are offered at our discretion, have no cash value, and may be changed or ended where permitted by law.
  • Custom software and game studio services. These services are offered primarily to clients on the East Coast of the United States; clients in other U.S. states may be served by written agreement. Altura Logic delivers these services as the first party: your agreement, your point of contact and your relationship are with Altura Logic only. Altura Logic conducts its business and delivers every project from the United States, from its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina: any contribution by a contractor or partner is delivered to Altura Logic, and Altura Logic alone delivers the finished work to you. Travel to client locations in the United States may be available only if and as stated in your project contract, and is not guaranteed; any in-person meeting is at Altura Logic's discretion and does not change where the business is conducted or the services are performed (Charlotte, North Carolina). These services, and any strategic partnership, sponsorship or co-development arrangement, are governed by a separate written agreement (and, for projects, a statement of work), and requesting a quote, proposing a partnership or booking a call does not create a contract. Altura Logic may engage independent contractors or strategic partners under confidentiality obligations. They are not parties to your agreement, have no authority to bind Altura Logic, and receive only the information necessary for their part of the work. Quotes, estimates and proposals are non-binding until they are included in a signed agreement. Descriptions of how we usually work, including working directly with our founder, are general descriptions and not a promise that any particular person will be available for or involved in your project; who works on a project is set only in its written agreement. Our own products, games, demos, portfolio and past work illustrate our capabilities only and are not a promise of any particular result, quality, timeline or price for your project.
  • AI automation and AI features we build for you. Automations, AI assistants, AI features and integrations that we build or configure for you rely on third-party AI and software services that can change, fail or produce inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate output. We do not guarantee any time or cost savings, accuracy, availability or business result. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it or sending it to your customers, for keeping appropriate human oversight, for the data you connect, and for using any automation or AI assistant in compliance with the law, including privacy, consumer-protection, communications and anti-discrimination rules and any disclosure that you are using AI. Usage costs of third-party AI and software services are yours unless your written agreement says otherwise.
  • Who we design for; equal access. Our services are offered to businesses in the United States, primarily on the East Coast, with a focus on service businesses such as property management and automotive businesses. These focus areas describe who we design for and are not a requirement. Our focus on English- and Spanish-speaking audiences is an added value we offer, not a requirement for clients. Altura Logic does not accept, decline, price or treat any client, user or collaborator differently based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex or any other characteristic protected by law, and we do not ask you to state or prove your heritage. References to culture, language or community in our marketing are not a promise of any particular cultural or language service.
  • Your industry, your obligations. Altura Logic provides software and related services only. We are not a property manager, landlord, real estate broker, contractor, repair facility, dealer or insurer, and we do not give legal, real estate, housing, repair or safety advice. You remain solely responsible for running your business and for complying with every law and rule that applies to it, including landlord-tenant, fair housing, real estate licensing, habitability and repair-deadline rules, consumer protection, and motor vehicle repair and warranty rules (such as written estimates and customer authorizations). You decide which jobs are done, by whom, when and at what price, and you are responsible for the work that you, your staff, your vendors and your technicians perform, and for their licenses and insurance.
  • Not an emergency service. The Services are not an emergency or safety service. Requests, calls and messages sent through them may be delayed, misrouted or not delivered. You must keep your own emergency process and tell your tenants, residents and customers to call 911 or the appropriate emergency service for fires, gas leaks, flooding, injuries, vehicle safety problems or any other emergency. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altura Logic is not responsible for any harm caused by a delayed, missed or misrouted request.
  • Messages and data you send through our software. When the Services place calls or send texts, emails or other messages for you, or collect information from your tenants, residents, customers or vendors, you are the sender and the business responsible for that communication and that information. You must obtain every consent the law requires (including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and anti-spam laws), honor opt-out requests, and give every notice the law requires, including that a person is communicating with an automated or AI assistant and that a call may be recorded. You must have a lawful basis to share that information with us, and you must not use the Services to discriminate against any tenant, applicant or customer. We process that information for you as your service provider, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Collaborators, creatives and developers. Creatives, developers, mentors and partners who collaborate with Altura Logic do so as independent parties. Offering to collaborate, being invited to a program, or being described as a collaborator or partner does not create an employment, agency, partnership or joint-venture relationship, and does not give any right to work, payment, credit, equity, ownership or future engagement; any engagement requires a separate written agreement signed by Altura Logic. Collaborators and partners have no authority to act, speak, sign or make promises for Altura Logic. Altura Logic is not responsible for a collaborator's or partner's own products, services, statements, conduct or results outside a written agreement with Altura Logic.

9. Third-party services

The Services rely on and link to third-party services (for example Google, Stripe, Anthropic, Twilio, Resend, Vercel, LiveKit, TikTok, Steam and app stores). We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, actions, terms or changes, or for any loss caused by them. Your use of a third-party service is between you and that provider.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services, including all software, games, AI output, exports, content and information, are provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altura Logic, LLC and its products, its members, managers, officers, contractors, partners, agents, licensors and suppliers (the "Altura Logic Parties") disclaim all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with your systems or third-party platforms, or that they will achieve any result, revenue, audience, ranking or outcome. You use the Services at your own risk.

Errors happen. Software, games, AI output, exports, prices and content, including information on our websites and in our documents, may contain errors, bugs, inaccuracies, outdated information, delays or interruptions. When we learn of one, we will use reasonable efforts to correct it and to keep improving your experience, but we do not guarantee that any error will be fixed or by when. To the maximum extent permitted by law, your only remedy for an error is that we try to correct it or that you stop using and cancel the Services. We may correct pricing or listing errors at any time, including after an order is placed.

Help us improve. If you notice an error or outdated information, please send us feedback at admin@alturalogic.com or through the Help Center. We review feedback to keep improving the Services, but sending it does not create any obligation for Altura Logic to make a change.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altura Logic has no legal responsibility for any accidental mistake, including any unintentional error, inaccuracy, omission or outdated information in the Services, on our websites or in our documents, or for any decision you make based on it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Altura Logic Parties will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data or content, or for business interruption or the cost of substitute services, arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services, however caused and under any theory of liability, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

No financial responsibility: to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Altura Logic Parties accept no financial responsibility for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services. If any liability is nonetheless imposed by law, the total liability of the Altura Logic Parties for all claims combined will not exceed the amount you actually paid to Altura Logic for the Services in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you use only free Services, that amount is zero (US $0).

These limits are an essential part of the bargain between you and Altura Logic; we could not offer the Services, including free plans, without them. They apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They apply only to the extent the law of your jurisdiction allows, and do not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or rights you have under mandatory laws that cannot be waived.

11A. No personal liability

Altura Logic, LLC is a limited liability company and is the only party that provides the Services and enters into these Terms and any purchase or service agreement with you. Its members, managers, officers, contractors and partners act only on behalf of Altura Logic, LLC; they are not parties to these Terms and have no personal liability for the obligations of Altura Logic, LLC.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to bring any claim related to the Services or these Terms only against Altura Logic, LLC, and not against any of its members, managers, officers or other individuals personally.

The Altura Logic Parties are intended third-party beneficiaries of sections 10, 11, 11A, 12 and 15 and may enforce them. This section does not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

12. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Altura Logic Parties from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Services; (b) Your Content, including any website, store, export or publication you make with the Services; (c) your violation of these Terms, of any law, or of a third-party platform's terms; (d) your violation of anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual-property rights; (e) any dispute between you and your customers, visitors, workspace members or other users; or (f) your business operations, including the housing, maintenance, repair or vehicle services that you, your vendors or your technicians provide, and any call, text, email or notice sent, or any information collected, through the Services on your behalf. We may assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you will cooperate with us. You may not settle any such matter without our written consent. This indemnity does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of an Altura Logic Party.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services and request deletion of your account at any time from Settings → Security.

Altura Logic reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, limit, revoke or delete any account, workspace, plan, benefit, perk, reward, game key, early access, mentorship spot, content or access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason or no reason, without prior notice.

This includes, for example, if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if required by law. We may also change or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Refund if we end a paid plan without cause: if Altura Logic ends or discontinues a paid plan you are still paying for, for a reason that is not your breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, a legal requirement, or a risk to Altura Logic or others, we will refund the unused, prepaid portion of your current billing period. In every other case, and except where the law requires otherwise, termination does not entitle you to a refund. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 3, 5 for amounts owed, 7, 10, 11, 11A, 12, 15 and 16) survive termination.

15. Disputes: no lawsuits, only individual arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes are resolved.

Informal resolution first. Before starting any proceeding, you and Altura Logic agree to try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 45 days, starting when one party sends the other a written description of the dispute (to us: admin@alturalogic.com). In the same way, before filing a complaint about the Services with a consumer-protection, data-protection or other government authority, you agree to contact us first and give us a reasonable opportunity, of at least 45 days, to correct the issue, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising a right that the law does not allow to be limited.

No lawsuits: you agree that you will not sue Altura Logic or any Altura Logic Party in court. Because claims are resolved by binding arbitration, neither you nor Altura Logic will have a court or jury trial, except as stated in "Exceptions" and "Opting out" below.

Arbitration. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, including any claim against an Altura Logic Party, that is not resolved informally will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, under the Federal Arbitration Act and, to the extent not inconsistent with it, the North Carolina Revised Uniform Arbitration Act. The legal seat of the arbitration is Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and North Carolina law applies, regardless of where you live. Hearings may be held in Mecklenburg County or, to reduce cost for both parties, by video or on written submissions. Judgment on the award may be entered in the courts of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, or any other court with jurisdiction.

Who decides arbitrability. The arbitrator has exclusive authority to decide all issues about the interpretation, scope, applicability, enforceability and formation of this arbitration agreement, except that a court in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, decides issues about the class action waiver and the mass arbitration provisions below.

Fees. Filing, administrative and arbitrator fees are paid as provided in the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules and its fee schedule. Each party pays its own attorneys' fees and costs unless the arbitrator awards them under applicable law, including if a claim is found to be frivolous or brought for an improper purpose.

Mass arbitration. If 25 or more similar demands are filed against Altura Logic by or with the help of the same or coordinated counsel or organizations, the AAA Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules apply, the demands will be administered in batches of up to 25, and no further demands in that group will be filed or charged fees until each batch is resolved, to the extent permitted by those rules. Statutes of limitation are suspended for demands waiting in a batch.

Time limits. All statutes of limitation and filing deadlines are suspended (tolled) during the 45-day informal resolution period, so following it never costs you a claim.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim that qualifies in small claims court in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and either party may seek injunctive relief in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, for infringement or misuse of intellectual property or for unauthorized access to the Services. No claim may be brought in any other court.

Class action waiver: you and Altura Logic may bring claims against each other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims of more than one person or preside over any class or representative proceeding.

Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days after you first accept these Terms by emailing admin@alturalogic.com with the subject "Arbitration opt-out", your full name, the email of your Altura One ID and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, you still agree to contact Altura Logic first at admin@alturalogic.com and give us at least 45 days to review and fix the issue before filing any claim. After that period, claims between you and Altura Logic will be decided only by the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, under North Carolina law. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms, including the informal resolution requirement, the class action waiver, the limitation of liability and section 16.

If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must be decided in court and not in arbitration. If you live outside the United States, this section applies to the extent the mandatory law of your country allows.

16. Governing law, venue and users outside the United States

Altura Logic is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. These Terms, the Services and every claim or dispute between you and Altura Logic, whether in contract, tort, statute or otherwise, are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules and regardless of where you live or use the Services. All claims must be resolved in North Carolina: through arbitration seated in Mecklenburg County as described in section 15 or, only where these Terms allow a court, in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue or inconvenient forum there. These Terms, every purchase and every service agreement with Altura Logic are entered into, and the Services are provided and performed, in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.

The Services are operated from Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, and are designed for and directed only to customers in the United States, including Latin American communities in the United States. Altura Logic has no offices in any other state or country. They may be accessible from other countries, but we do not market them there or represent that they are appropriate or available there. If you use the Services from any country, you do so on your own initiative and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you are, including laws on data, content, taxes, imports and online purchases.

If a mandatory law of your country gives you a right that these Terms cannot remove (for example, a statutory warranty or withdrawal right), that law applies only to the minimum extent it strictly requires; North Carolina law and the North Carolina forum still govern everything else.

17. General terms

  • Changes. We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the Services at least 15 days before it takes effect, except for changes required by law or made for security, which may take effect sooner. Changes apply only going forward and never to purchases already made for the period paid. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Services and cancel. A change to section 15 will not apply to any dispute that arose, or of which either party gave notice, before the change takes effect; those disputes remain governed by the version of section 15 in effect at that time.
  • Electronic communications. You agree to receive notices, agreements and disclosures electronically, and that they satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party services, internet or power failures, natural disasters, war, government action or labor disputes.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them, including in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Severability and waiver. Each provision of these Terms, and each part of a provision, is separate and severable. If any of them is held invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions stay in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Order of precedence. If these Terms conflict with a signed service agreement or statement of work, the signed agreement controls for that project. Official rules of a contest or program control for that program. Otherwise these Terms control.
  • Electronic acceptance. Accepting these Terms by checking a box, clicking a button or using the Services is a valid electronic signature under the U.S. E-SIGN Act and the North Carolina Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, with the same effect as a handwritten signature. We may keep electronic records of your acceptance.
  • Interpretation. "Including" means "including without limitation". Headings are for convenience only. These Terms will not be construed against either party because it drafted them.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any product terms or official rules referenced here are the entire agreement between you and Altura Logic about the Services. No agency, partnership, joint venture or employment relationship is created.
  • Language. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and all other Altura Logic legal documents are provided in English only, and the English version is the only binding version. Spanish content on our websites is offered only as an added value for convenience; it is not a translation of these documents and creates no rights or obligations. The Services, support and deliverables are provided in English. Our founder is bilingual and may communicate with you in Spanish when possible, but Spanish-language service is not guaranteed unless Altura Logic agrees to it in writing. Programs announced as being in Spanish, such as specific mentorships, are offered in Spanish as described in their announcements.
